miss toni
Miss Toni was born in Brisbane and started dancing at 4 years old, training in RAD Ballet, CSTD jazz & tap, lyrical, hip hop and performed in eisteddfods & stage productions all throughout her childhood. At a young age she had the opportunity to experience the entertainment industry through performing in well-known events including Channel 7’s Lord Mayors Christmas Carols, the Goodwill Games Opening Ceremony and Channel 9’s Australian Fashion Awards.
Miss Toni studied at Queensland Dance School of Excellence, then furthered her studies in Sydney completing her Cert IV in performing arts at Brent Street Studios then completed a Cert IV in Ballet & Contemporary at Ev & Bow Full-Time Training Centre. Miss Toni performed and appeared in many commercial gigs including music videos and corporate events, however a couple of highlights from her career include assisting Sarah Boulter on So You Think You Can Dance Series 2 and touring with Opera Australia as a dancer in Graeme Murphy’s production, Aida. Once Miss Toni moved back home to Qld she worked as a performer at Dreamworld, and began her dance teaching career. She quickly discovered her love & passion for teaching and choreographing and has 15+ years of experience, teaching at many dance studios across Queensland. She has the incredible privilege of being the Co-Director of Kingdom Dance Movement, raising up the next generation of artists.
miss bec
Miss Bec grew up on the Gold Coast and began dancing at three years old. She trained in RAD Ballet, ATOD Jazz and Tap, Lyrical and Acrobatics, spending over a decade competing and performing in local musicals and stage shows. Her professional career began at Sea World and later expanded to hosting and dancing in Nickelodeon children’s shows, travelling internationally for performance contracts, and appearing in various TV commercials and acting projects. Throughout her career, she has been signed with well-known talent agencies and has worked with a range of recognised brands across Australia. She also holds a Certificate III in Fitness and Group Instruction and spent more than five years running a school mentorship program and functional training centre. Teaching, however, has always been her true passion.
With over 10 years of teaching experience, Miss Bec is dedicated to choreography, mentorship, and guiding dancers of all ages. She is committed to fostering a positive, supportive environment where students feel inspired to grow and develop a lifelong love of dance. She is honoured to serve as Co-Director of Kingdom Dance Movement alongside Miss Toni
mr kani
Kani Puru, an artist and performer, strives to evoke joy and inspire positive change through his artistry, drawing from his Maori (Aotearoa/New Zealand) heritage. With a deep connection to his heritage, Kani incorporates elements of Maori tradition and storytelling into his performances. His experiences as a backing vocalist for Tones and I (2022–2023) and as a dance teacher/choreographer across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific since 2012 have allowed him to fuse cultural narratives with dynamic expression.
Kani has showcased his talents on various platforms, including Vocal Fusion TV Show, Australia’s Got Talent, and the World Hip Hop Championships. He is also passionate about contributing to community events and projects, such as New Year’s Eve celebrations and Tones and I’s “I’m Free” music video, where he continues to share his culture and inspire audiences worldwide.
